After 20 years in theater on the East Coast, Leah took a gamble by moving to Las Vegas. That gamble paid off when she met and married British tournament poker player Peter Costa. Despite her fear of flying, Leah traveled with Peter to many international destinations, becoming a bit of a den mother to the other players on the poker circuit.

Following Peter’s victory at the "Aussie Millions," both Leah and Peter appeared in an Australian documentary that focused on the influence of British poker players on the sport and popular culture in Australia. During their time in Melbourne, Leah worked with the producer to secure a backstage pass to the Melbourne Zoo for an interactive experience with koalas. She also promoted animal welfare through a visit to the local RSPCA, where 5% of Peter's winnings were donated to a local Aussie animal charity. To this day, Leah has never paid for a drink in Australia.

After two and a half years of traveling the globe together, Leah and Peter settled in Las Vegas, where they now reside with their beloved Maine Coon cat, Daisy.
